Channel 10 news report on PMW at the Senate

Gil Tamari (Israeli journalist): “Not every day are Palestinian textbooks laid out as such on the table of the American Senate. But when Hillary Clinton is disturbed by the incitement in these books.”
Hillary Clinton: “Good morning everyone.”
Tamari: “It happens.”
Clinton: “We must stop the propaganda to which Palestinian children are being exposed.”
Itamar Marcus: “Palestinians are defining the battle with Israel…”
Tamari: “Hillary is giving credence to the new report by Palestinian Media Watch. These textbooks became part of the school curriculum only last November, and they are simply saturated with hatred.”
Clinton: “These textbooks do not give Palestinian children an education; they give them an indoctrination that basically, profoundly poisons the mind of these children.”
Marcus: “I showed her many clips from the Palestinian television, the education of children on television. She understood that there was something that she hadn't known before. The finding that disturbs us the most is the transfer of the conflict from a national and territorial conflict to an existential religious conflict. Hamas is defining it as a religious war, and now even the textbooks are defining it as a religious war.”
Tamari: “The Hamas government is not responsible for these books, but Fatah and Abu Mazen (Mahmoud Abbas), again, it can’t be said that it is an inheritance from Jordanian textbooks. Israel does not appear on maps, and its establishment is defined as a disaster.”
Clinton: “These children deserve an education that instills respect for life and peace instead of glorifying death and violence. That must be a priority for all people who care about children, who care about the kind of peace, stability, safety and security that Israel deserves to be guaranteed.”
