Fatah calls for defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque “using all possible ways”

“The Fatah Revolutionary Council warns that if the [UN] Security Council fails to fulfill its duties in this regard, it will be paving the way to a declaration on the end of the peace process, which has neither achieved its goals nor realized the rationale for which it was undertaken. In such a case, the [Fatah] Central Committee will be authorized to make any decision – including the cessation of all official relations created in the wake of the Oslo Accords and the mutual commitments that resulted from it…The [Fatah] Revolutionary Council opposes all the occupation’s moves against the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the ‘Sanctuary of Jerusalem’ (i.e., the Temple Mount) and Jerusalem in general. In addition, it calls for its defense, and for [the defense of] all the holy places in Jerusalem using all possible ways, whether through diplomatic and legal measures or through national struggle.’”
