PA official says terror attack with car was an “accident”
“At a press conference organized by the Government Information Center in Ramallah yesterday [Oct. 23, 2014], Adnan Al-Damiri, the official spokesman of the PA Security Forces… noted that everyone has confirmed that the accident in which the child Inas Dar Khalil died a Martyr’s (Shahid’s) death and her friend Toleen Asfour was injured was intentional, while the occupation authorities considered it a [normal] accident. At the same time, they [Israel] cold-bloodedly executed the youth Abd Al-Rahman Al-Shaloudi after the accident in Jerusalem.”
Notes: On Oct. 19, 2014, a Jewish Israeli man from the Yizhar settlement ran over and killed five-year-old Inas Dar Khalil and critically injured her friend Toleen Asfour, 5, on a highway in the West Bank. According to official Israeli news sources, the man called the police to report the incident, which an initial investigation revealed to have been an accident. The incident is still being investigated.
Abd Al-Rahman Al-Shaloudi – On Oct. 22, 2014, Al-Shaloudi drove his car into a light-rail station in Jerusalem, killing three-month-old Israeli-American Haya Zissel-Brown and Karen Mosquera, 22, of Ecuador, and injuring 7 others. He was shot by police while attempting to flee the scene, and later died of his wounds.
