“Blood of the Martyrs” is “fuel” for a third intifada in defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque

“The [Palestinian] National and Islamic Forces in the Ramallah and El-Bireh District emphasized that what is happening in Jerusalem is a stage of the most dangerous Zionist plan since the Nakba of 1948 (i.e., ‘the catastrophe,’ Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel)… The Forces emphasized that the blood of the Martyrs (Shahids) who fell on the altar of liberty is fuel for a popular escalation toward a widespread Intifada against the occupation. In addition, they emphasized that our people’s reserves of giving will never run out, and that it is capable of inventing new ways of struggle that will surprise everyone. The Forces called for reactivating popular resistance to the occupation in all its forms, and for [everyone] to continue sacrificing that which is most dear for the defense of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
