Supreme Muslim Council: “Jews have no connection” to the Al-Aqsa Mosque

“The Supreme Muslim Council and the Council for Holy Places and Islamic Affairs in Occupied Jerusalem emphasized yesterday [Nov. 12, 2014] that the media reports, according to which the so-called Israeli ‘Minister of Internal Security’ would act together with the Israeli police to install electronic gates at the outer entrances to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, signal the takeover, in practice, of Al-Aqsa. The Council emphasized that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is an Islamic mosque, and by divine decree intended for Muslims alone… and [that] its [ownership] is not shared with anyone. Furthermore, [it noted that] the Jews have no connection to it, and that their arrogant power will not buy them any right to it.”
