Fatah official: Israelis are “neo-Nazis”
The beIN Sports news network interviewed Deputy Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee and Head of the Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs Jibril Rajoub on the Israeli army raid on the headquarters of the Palestinian Football Association
Deputy Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee and Head of the Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs Jibril Rajoub: “It may be that they wanted to make a point, because today… Even though the clerks asked them [what they wanted] and told them this was FIFA [headquarters], they cursed FIFA and used foul language – but this is how the 21st century neo-Nazis behave. Unfortunately for them, and fortunately for us, everything was recorded on camera, in sound and image, and there is no chance they will avoid punishment this time.”
Note: An Israeli army spokesperson explained that Palestinians who had been arrested outside the building in which the Palestinian Football Association is located claimed their personal papers were inside the office. The Israeli soldiers entered in order to retrieve the papers, and the search was not directed at the Palestinian Football Association.(http://sports.walla.co.il/item/2805124)
