Ramallah Governor: Al-Aqsa Mosque has been “desecrated” by the “longest occupation humanity has ever known”

“District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh Laila Ghannam stressed that Jerusalem would continue to be proud of its residents, who, despite the severe conditions, insist on carrying out Ribat (religious conflict/war over land claimed to be Islamic) at the ‘national gate to heaven,’ (i.e., the Al-Aqsa Mosque, from which the Prophet Muhammad is believed to have ascended to heaven) in order to emphasize its Palestinian and Arab nature, which have been desecrated by the last and longest occupation humanity has known.”
