Abbas advisor warns of the “Zionist Judaization project against Islamic and Christian holy places”
“[PA Chairman Abbas’ advisor on NGOs and] Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein said that Fatah would not stand idly by while its members are harmed, especially in the city of occupied Jerusalem, the latest [such event] being the arrest of [Fatah Jerusalem] branch member Abir Ziad… Abu Al-Einein called Fatah’s leaders and members the vanguard in the confrontation with the Zionist Judaization project against the Islamic and Christian holy places and the Arab Palestinian presence in Jerusalem. Abu Al-Einein warned of the results of the increasing Israeli escalation in Jerusalem, which is taking place parallel to the elections in which the Israeli parties are immersed, and accused the Israeli parties of using violence against our people in their election campaign. In addition, Abu Al-Einein warned of the policy of the depopulation of the Holy City and of the ethnic cleansing being carried out by the ultra-extremists in the city though the expulsion policy recently adopted by Israel, and the placing of obstacles in the way of the Murabitin (those who carry out Ribat, religious conflict/war over land claimed to be Islamic) at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
