PA TV lauds terrorist as “heroic Martyr… who ascended to heaven”

Official PA TV reporter: “It was thanks to divine power that Khaled [Saleh Salahat] lived on after the savage assassination [attempt] carried out by the Israeli combat helicopters, which were seeking to murder Khaled and the heroic Martyr (Shahid) Hussein Abayat, leading to the Martyrdom-death of Hussein Abayat, Aziza Jibran and Rahma Shu’eibat, who ascended to Heaven.”[…]

Note: Hussein Abayat - Commander of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades in the West Bank. He was involved in shooting attacks against civilians and military in the Bethlehem area, including the killing of Sgt. Max Hazan and the injuring of border policeman Shimon Ohana. Abayat was killed in November 2000 when he was hit by a rocket fired by an IDF helicopter, which also killed the two civilians Aziza Jibran and Rahma Shu’eibat mentioned in the article.
