[Director of the Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs Issa] Karake said that this is the first time since 2009 that prisoners could take the matriculation exams, after the occupation stopped the high school and university studies of the prisoners. Likewise, he said: ‘In 2015, the prisoners will be able to join the Al-Quds Open University, after signing an agreement with the university.’”
