PLO asserts "the right" of Palestinians to fight Israel: "The first bullets… are still aimed at our enemies"

“The National Council [the PLO legislative body]… stressed in a statement published yesterday [Jan. 1, 2015] on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Palestinian revolution… that the first bullets, which announced the outbreak of the Palestinian revolution 50 years ago, are still aimed at our enemies and the conspirers, still know that their goal is to end the occupation, [and realize the right of] return, still constitute the right of our people to fight and oppose the occupation and still light up the path for future generations.”
