Fatah official: "We will adhere to resistance in all its forms"

"Yesterday evening [Dec. 31, 2014], mass celebrations, rallies, and processions took place in our Palestinian people's refugee camps in Lebanon for the 50th anniversary of the Launch (Intilaqa) of the activities of the Fatah Movement and the outbreak of the modern Palestinian revolution…
Likewise, masses of our people came out in the Al-Burj Al-Shamali refugee camp in a procession that passed through the streets of the camp for the event, in the presence of Fatah leaders and members, and of leaders of the PLO factions…
In this procession, head of information of the Al-Burj Al-Shamali Fatah branch Basel Abu Shihab spoke, and he emphasized that Fatah sacrificed and is still sacrificing victims and Martyrs (Shahids) for the liberation of Palestine, and stands against all the plots and conspirators…
Abu Shihab added that Fatah, led by a legitimate symbol, [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas, stands against all the plots and conspirators, and that they will not succeed in harming any Fatah members. Likewise, [he said] we will adhere to resistance in all its forms (i.e., including violence) until one of our boys and one of our girls will wave the flag of Palestine above the churches and mosque minarets of Jerusalem."

Bombing of Israel's National Water Carrier - On Jan. 1, 1965, Palestinian terrorists attempted to bomb Israel's National Water Carrier. This was the first attack against Israel carried out by Fatah. Fatah refers to the attack as the “Intilaqa,” meaning “the Launch” of Fatah.
