Synagogue killers glorified as martyrs in PA daily
Headline: “After their bodies had been withheld [by Israel] for 37 days, hundreds escorted the bodies of the Martyrs [Ghassan and Uday] Abu Jamal [to their burial place]
“The emotions felt by the Abu Jamal family included a mixture of sadness, joy, pain and longing, after the return of the bodies of Martyrs (Shahids) Ghassan and Uday [Abu Jamal] (i.e., the synagogue murderers) for burial in the Al-Sawahrah Al-Sharqiya cemetery east of Jerusalem and outside its [municipal] boundaries.
The moment the family received the bodies of the Martyrs [Ghassan and Uday] Abu Jamal, after they were held [by Israel] for 37 days, was similar to the first moments after the announcement of their Martyrdom-death, and the feelings of pain and shock showed on the faces of the family members.
The Martyrs’ family members said: ‘Today, with their burial, our soul has found rest. These past days were very difficult for us, with the Martyrdom-death of Ghassan and Uday, the withholding of their bodies, the subsequent arrest of most of the family members, the issuing of demolition orders on our homes and the order to expel Ghassan’s wife to the West Bank – in addition to the daily invasions of the village of Jabal Mukkaber and the area of the [mourners’] tent. All these were punishments and acts of “revenge” [inflicted by Israel] on the entire family.’
Despite Israeli restrictions, approximately 300 Palestinians accompanied the bodies of the Martyrs [Ghassan and Uday] Abu Jamal, after praying for them at the Al-Sawahrah Mosque, where the participants hoisted Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in support of the Martyrs [Ghassan and Uday] Abu Jamal.”
Note: Jerusalem synagogue terror attack – On Nov. 18, 2014, two Arab terrorists, Ghassan and Uday Abu Jamal from East Jerusalem, entered a synagogue in Jerusalem and attacked worshippers with guns, knives and axes, killing 4 worshippers and a police officer. Seven people were injured, 3 of them seriously. The terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with Israeli Security Forces that arrived on the scene.
