Israeli Arab MP calls Israel’s Negev region “the occupied Negev”

“[Bedouin] Israeli [Arab] Parliament member Taleb Abu Arar sent a letter to Israeli Minister of Internal Affairs Gilad Erdan and Minister of Agriculture Yair Shamir, who is charged with the task of ‘regulating Bedouin settlement in the Negev.’ He demanded the implementation of all necessary protective measures ahead of the expected storm in the villages unrecognized [by the state] in the occupied Negev.”
