Fatah: Hamas uses government money as if it were “a cash machine”

‎“Fatah Central Committee member and ‎Minister of Civil Affairs [in the PA] ‎Hussein Al-Sheikh stressed that Hamas ‎wants to remain in power and the National ‎Consensus Government (i.e., the Fatah-‎Hamas unity government) would merely ‎serve as a cash machine… He added: ‘The Palestinian government ‎pays [the expenses of] the Gaza Strip, and ‎last month, the government paid 73 million ‎shekels for the Gaza Strip’s electricity bill ‎‎– while Hamas collects money for ‎electricity, but does not transfer the ‎collected [money] to the PA.’” ‎
