Western and Israeli intel services helped establish Islamic terrorism
Op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, columnist for the official PA daily:
“When we examine Islamic terrorism, [we see that] the above mentioned factors - established by the Western and Israeli intelligence services and some of the Arab and Islamic tyrannical and corrupt regimes - formed the foundation for its birth and solidification. These factors prepared the ground for its political, economic, logistical, military and public relations success. In addition, the religious non-civilian factors - the Muslim Brotherhood and their branches in the eastern and western parts of the Arab world - played an important role in the spread and diffusion of its influence… They created the appropriate conditions for the birth and establishment of the various terror groups, whose influence grew after the outbreak of the revolutions of the Arab Spring in late 2010 and early 2011.”
