Israel has built "an entire city beneath the Al-Aqsa Mosque"

     “Secretary-General of the Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem and the Holy Places Hanna Issa said that Israel had allocated 17 billion dollars for the Judaization of the Holy City [Jerusalem], and noted that the occupation had succeeded in building an entire city beneath the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which includes seven tunnels and halls that can hold 5,000 people. In addition, he stressed that the occupation does as it pleases in the Holy City, without any consideration for the Arab and Islamic world. Issa spoke during a political conference organized by the [PA] Ministry of Information under the title, ‘Jerusalem and the Judaization Policy,’ held in the presence of and with the patronage of Tulkarem District Governor Issam Abu Bakr, Minister of Religious Affairs Sheikh Yusuf Ida'is, Secretary-General of the Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem and the Holy Places Dr. Hanna Issa and Deputy Minister of Communications Mahmoud Khalifa… [Minister] Ida'is addressed the suffering of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the attempts to eradicate their Arab and Islamic identity and the Judaization policy that began in 1967 with the aim of rebuilding the so-called ‘alleged Temple.’”
