A warning against normalization with Israeli sports

     "[The publicity department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports] has confirmed its general directive to the sports unions and clubs and the relevant institutions, including a warning against carrying out normalization with the Israeli side in [the area of] sports. The document stated: … [that] it is absolutely forbidden to participate in any manner, or to carry out coordination with the Israeli side in any sports matter at all. The directive warned that unions, clubs and players participating in such activities… would be erased from the sporting unions' lists… because such activities are a cover for Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, and do not serve the process of a just peace."
