PA TV hosted poet who anticipates Palestinian refugees returning to live in Jewish homes in Israel
Official PA TV program Personal Meeting hosted poet Khaled Abu Khaled
Poet Khaled Abu Khaled: "Palestine [belongs] to its people and it is returning. I was convinced, and until this very moment I can almost see in my mind’s eye, that a man would knock on my door and say: Abu Khaled, the buses [of the returning refugees] have arrived, and the way to Palestine is open. Not only that, I say to the Palestinians, to our nation in the interior (i.e., Israeli Arabs), our fighting and struggling nation, who has fought for more than 120 years: 'Do not destroy the settlements. There are 11 million Palestinians who need to come back and live [in them]. Leave the houses prepared for them.”
