Fatah official: “I do not want confrontation, not even with a stone or a burning tire”
Official PA TV program Personal Conversation hosted member of Fatah’s Central Committee Ahmad Abd Al-Rahman on the issue of popular resistance.
Member of Fatah’s Central Committee Ahmad Abd Al-Rahman: “The diplomatic effort and the [UN] Security Council are not enough. There is a need to implement popular resistance in peaceful ways. I do not want explosive belts and explosive materials, and I do not want confrontation, not even with a stone or a burning tire. I am interested in the implementation of popular resistance to prevent the settlers’ herds from being a nuisance in the Palestinian territories."
