“The [PA] Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem and the Holy Places said that the occupation is continuing its massacres and crimes against our people in all ways and manners, and warned of a large massacre that will be carried out against occupied Jerusalem, and particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The council said… that the extremism and Judaization steps that the occupation authorities are carrying out against the Holy City constitute a continuation of the massacres it carried out against the Palestinians, as today they are carrying out a massacre of the Arabness of Jerusalem, its ancient history, and its Islamic and Christian holy sites. The occupation authorities are intentionally desecrating the holy sites and attacking them with fire, destruction, and defilement, in addition to the theft of an entire culture, with all its details and antiquities, along with the excavation of a network of tunnels under the Old City of the occupied city, and particularly under the foundations of the first direction of prayer, and the third most holy mosque (i.e., the Al-Aqsa Mosque).”
