Delegation visits released prisoner, murderer of 2 Israelis

“A delegation that included representatives of the official and civilian institutions that are active on the matter of prisoners visited released prisoner Hazza Al-Sa’adi, who is one of the veteran prisoners. The delegation included Head of the Prisoners’ Club in Jenin and Coordinator of the Popular Committee for the Release of the Prisoners Ragheb Abu Diak, and Head of the [PLO] Commission for Prisoners’ Affairs in Jenin Nazmi Rabai’ah… Rabai’ah emphasized the importance of the interest in the prisoners and released prisoners sector, which according to him comes as a reward to this sector for its efforts and its giving throughout the years of the occupation.”
Hazza Al-Sa’adi – he and accomplice Othman Bani Hassan murdered Yosef Eliahu and Leah Elmakais while they were hiking on Mount Gilboa (July 21, 1985). He was serving a life sentence, but was released from prison in October 2013 as one of 104 terrorists whom Israel agreed to release to fulfill the PA's precondition for renewing negotiations.
