“The [PA] Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem and the Holy Places warned that the Israeli occupation authorities have begun to excavate tunnels in the Ein Al-Daraj area in the center of the village of Silwan (i.e., neighborhood of Jerusalem), under the Jerusalem homes and to the north, towards the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The council said in a notice yesterday [April 23, 2015] that the new tunnel constitutes the completion of the extreme Israeli plan against the mosque, whose purpose is to establish the alleged Temple on its ruins.”
