Arab League official claims Naftali Bennett called to build Temple in place of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Headline: “Jerusalem is in a critical phase”
“[Arab League’s] Deputy Secretary General for Palestinian and Arab Occupied Land Affairs Muhammad Sabih said: ‘The city of Jerusalem is the mother of Islamic causes and it is in great danger, for tunnels are being dug around the clock, and we may be in the critical stage in everything that concerns Jerusalem.’
In a statement to WAFA, responding to the calls of the alleged Temple organizations [to Jews] ‘to make a pilgrimage,’ in their words, and to carry out a mass invasion of the Al-Aqsa Mosque yesterday and the day before on the occasion of the Hebrew holidays, Sabih said: ‘The racist right-wing Israeli government is delusional in believing that it can build the Temple within the next two years. The Jewish Home [Party] Chairman [Naftali] Bennett confirmed it to the Jews when he said: ‘In the next stage you will pray in the Temple, in the place of the Al-Aqsa [Mosque].’”

Note: Israeli Minister of Education Naftali Bennett did not mention the Al-Asqa Mosque in his speech. His exact words were: “Soon Jews will also be able to enter and pray at the Temple Mount, because the Temple Mount is ours.” [Ynet, May 17, 2015]
