PA Ministry of Information: Israel "gives a free hand to terror in order to Judaize the [Al-Aqsa] mosque and establish the alleged Temple"

Headline: “Ministry of Information views the calls to invade the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque as ‘state terror’”
“The [PA] Ministry of Information said yesterday [May 25, 2015] in a statement that the call of the alleged Temple organizations to invade the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the pretext of the holiday of the giving of the Torah (i.e., the Jewish holiday of Shavuot), is terror under the auspices of an extremist government. The statement noted that the fact that the occupation and its security branches facilitate the invasions, for instance by security for the extremists, attacks against those praying at the [Al-Aqsa Mosque] plaza, and limitation of freedom of prayer [there], exposes the intentions of the occupation, which gives a free hand to terror in order to Judaize the mosque and establish the alleged Temple. In its statement, the Ministry [of Information] called on our people to go up to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and defend it from the plots being woven against it. It urged ambassadors of the world’s countries and members of the diplomatic missions to do what is required of them and intervene with their governments in order to force Israel to cease its terror against the sites that are holy to Islam and Christianity before it is too late.”

The PA and its leaders consider all of the Temple Mount an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore they view any presence of Jews on the mount as an “invasion.” It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock.

"Alleged Temple organizations” refers ‎to religious Jewish movements, including the ‎Temple Mount Heritage Foundation, The ‎Jewish Freedom on the Temple Mount ‎initiative and Students for the Temple Mount, ‎which spread awareness of the importance of ‎the Temple Mount in Judaism and encourage ‎people to visit the Temple Mount.
