PLO Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs visits home of prisoner who beat Israeli civilian to death, awards plaque of honor to other prisoner

“A team from the [PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs in the southern districts (i.e., the Gaza Strip) visited the home of Gaza Strip veteran prisoner Diya Zakariya Al-Faluji (Al-Agha), imprisoned for 23 years in the occupation’s prisons and serving a 99 year sentence, and released prisoner Muhammad Al-Agha who was released after having served a 12 year sentence. The delegation awarded a plaque of honor in the name of the Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs headed by Issa Karake to released [prisoner] Muhammad and his mother, for her endurance, her concern for all the prisoners, her protection of their affairs and responsiveness to all their demands.”

Note: Diya Zakariya Shaker Al-Agha "Al-Faluji" - serving a life sentence for beating Israeli citizen Amatzia Ben Haim to death with a shovel in the Gaza Strip (Oct. 11, 1992).

Muhammad Al-Agha - sentenced to 13 years in prison; PMW has not been able to obtain precise information about his crime.
