Posted text: “Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein stated that the Israeli enemy only understands the language of confrontation, and that we need to remain completely alert and prepared to deal with every attack. Abu Al-Einein added that Israel has a policy of organized assassinations against our youth and cold-blooded murder under false pretexts. He noted the last crime of assassination that the occupation carried out against young [Muhammad] Abu Latifa (killed while running from Israeli border guard forces trying to arrest him –Ed.) in the Qalandiya refugee camp north of Jerusalem, and before that in Hebron against the Abu Maria family. The list is long, as not a week goes by without a crime of the murder of a child or youth who has not yet come of age.
Abu Al-Einein noted that the Israeli enemy is trying to open all the fronts of conflict with our people in order to drag the region into violence, in search of an escape from the isolation it is dealing with at the moment. He stressed that it [Israel] takes advantage of the preoccupation of the countries in the region with their internal affairs, and continues to steal land for the benefit of the settlements…
On the same subject, he warned of planned attacks against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem, whose goal is to force the policy of its division, so that the extremist settlers can sow destruction in it and defile it.
Abu Al-Einein said that in the shadow of Arab silence and the international tendency [to favor Israel], the Palestinian people will not continue to be silent, but rather will open all of the options in the conflict with the enemy, in order to protect its land, children, and resources.
He continued: ‘Israel kills our people in order to kill. It carries out its crimes in cold blood, because what danger is a wounded youth to soldiers armed with the deadliest of weapons, such that they assassinate him with four bullets to the chest at point-blank range?’
Abu Al-Einein concluded: ‘We will not continue to receive condolences for the deaths of our children. The enemy will pay the price of its criminal actions sooner or later.’”
The PA and its leaders consider all of the Temple Mount an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore they view any presence of Jews on the mount as an "attack." It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock.
"Division according to areas and times" refers to a proposed law (May 2013) being reviewed in Israeli Parliament that would allow for both Jews and Muslims to pray on the Temple Mount, what the Palestinians call the Al-Aqsa Mosque plaza. The law seeks to designate separate prayer times and areas of the site for Muslims and Jews. However, Israeli PM Netanyahu has stated on many occasions that the Israeli government has no intention of changing the status quo on the Temple Mount, which means Jews are allowed to enter the Temple Mount, but cannot pray there or engage in any type of worship.
