Palestinian umbrella organization: Settlements used to commit “massacres against our children” and as “factories of death”

      “National and Islamic forces in the Ramallah and El-Bireh district… emphasized in an announcement they issued after their meeting in Ramallah yesterday [Aug. 9, 2015] afternoon, that all options are open to our people and its forces in order to deal with the terror of the occupation state and its striking arm in the Palestinian territories, namely, the herds of settlers, who do as they please with everything Palestinian as part of the ethnic cleansing plans to empty the land of its owners.
The forces emphasized that the occupation, in all its expressions and modes of existence on our land, is a legitimate target of resistance for our people, and the daily [Israeli] acts of killing will not go unpunished. Likewise, they stressed that the illegal settlements on our land are centers of aggression and massacres against our children, and are factories of death and intimidation against Palestinian villages, which makes it necessary to deal with this aggression with all possible means specified in international law for a people under occupation.”
