Abbas to family of terrorist: Your son is the “son of all the Palestinian people, and… his killing in cold blood is a crime”

Headline: “The president received the family of Martyr Al-Khaledi: ‘We will submit the case to the international criminal court’”
      “President Mahmoud Abbas yesterday [Aug. 13, 2015] received at the president’s residence in Ramallah the petition of the family of Martyr (Shahid) Laith Fadl Al-Khaledi, 17 years old, who died as a Martyr from gunfire of the occupation army next to the Atarot checkpoint, north of Ramallah. The president expressed his condolences to the Martyr’s family, and noted that Laith is the son of all the Palestinian people, and that his killing in cold blood is a crime that will not pass [in silence]. The president emphasized that he appointed the Foreign Minister to prepare the case of the Martyrdom-death of Laith in order to submit it to the international criminal court, so that the murderers will be punished.  In turn, the Martyr’s father explained that his son Laith sacrificed his life as a Martyr for Palestine and its land, following in the footsteps of the Martyrs. Al-Khaledi expressed his appreciation for the president’s interest in the issue of the Martyrdom-death of his son from the first moment, and his standing with his family in this tragedy.”

Note : Laith Fadl Al-Khaledi was shot while being chased, after throwing a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli military post near the town of Yitzhar, south of Nablus.
