PA daily: Students protest Netanyahu's "plots... to establish the alleged Temple"
Headline: “Student protest for the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Ramallah”
“The National and Islamic Forces in the Ramallah and El-Bireh district yesterday [Sept. 14, 2015] organized a… protest amid calls to revive the popular activities and sharpen the popular resistance, alongside the political effort and the diplomatic activities, in order to thwart the plots of the government of [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu and the extremists who long to establish the alleged Temple.”
The Palestinian National and Islamic Forces is an umbrella organization of several terror organizations active during the 2000-2005 PA terror campaign known as the Second Intifada, whose members included the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades (Fatah’s military wing) and the Izz A-Din Al-Qassam Brigades (Hamas’ military wing).
The terms "all means," "peaceful uprising,” and “popular uprising" are often used by PA leaders to refer to events that include violence and deadly terror against Israeli civilians such as rock-throwing, stabbings and even shootings. See Mahmoud Abbas' reference to murderous terror as "peaceful" during the 2015-2016 terror wave (“The Knife Intifada”), which included numerous stabbing attacks.
