Fatah spokesman: Terror attack killing parents in front of their children is “natural response” to Israel and “its settlers”

Headline: “Fatah: ‘The Nablus operation is a natural response to the occupation’s activities and its settlers”
“Fatah Spokesman Fayez Abu Aita held the occupation responsible for any act of violence in the region and for the crimes being carried out by the settlers and occupation army in the West Bank and Jerusalem, under the auspices of Israeli Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu. Likewise, he noted that the Fatah movement believes that Israel alone is responsible for everything happening. Regarding the movement’s response to the occupation government’s claims against [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas, Abu Aita says: ‘The Fatah movement held the Israeli government fully responsible, and this operation (i.e., terrorist attack in which Israeli couple was murdered) comes in response to the ongoing crimes against Palestinians and the holy sites.’ He clarified that Mahmoud Abbas’ response lies in his adherence to the option of popular resistance and the peace process and the arrangement, if the Israeli government will adhere to it, and continued: ‘The president and the PA are not responsible for the Palestinians’ responses to the occupation’s crimes, but rather it is Israel that is fully responsible, and if it continues its ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people, the only thing it can expect is additional violence.’”
