PA daily reports on mass funeral for terrorist ‎‎“Martyr” who killed 2 Israelis in the Old City

Headline: “Thousands of citizens accompanied the ‎body of Muhannad Halabi in El-Bireh yesterday”‎
‎“Thousands of [Palestinian] citizens, led by members ‎of the leadership and representatives of a variety of ‎national and Islamic forces and popular figures, ‎yesterday [Oct. 9, 2015] accompanied the body of ‎Martyr (Shahid) Muhannad Shafiq Halabi, 19, to ‎burial in the Al-Shahada cemetery in El-Bireh.‎
Ramallah and El-Bireh, where the Martyr was born, ‎were witness to a mass procession, the likes of which ‎the streets and squares of the city have not seen in ‎several years, during which the flag of Palestine and ‎flags of a number of factions were flown. The funeral ‎procession began after an impressive parting in the ‎large El-Bireh mosque named after Jamal Abd Al-‎Nasser, where the Martyr was carried on the ‎shoulders after the Friday prayers. The procession ‎passed through the main streets, with calls of rage, ‎demanding the military branches revenge the ‎Martyrs…‎
Halabi died as a Martyr on Saturday in occupied ‎Jerusalem, after carrying out a stabbing and shooting ‎operation (i.e., terror attack, Halabi stabbed and killed ‎‎2 Israelis) in the Old City of Jerusalem, during which ‎two rabbis of the occupation army were killed, and an ‎additional two were injured, before he was shot by ‎the occupation army’s soldiers.”‎

Muhannad Halabi - 19-year-old Palestinian terrorist ‎who killed 2 Israelis, Rabbi Nehemiah Lavi and ‎Aharon Bennett, and injured Bennett’s wife, Adele, ‎and their 2-year-old son in a stabbing attack in the Old ‎City of Jerusalem on Oct. 3, 2015. Following the ‎attack, he was shot and killed by Israeli security ‎forces. Prior to his attack, in a post to his private ‎Facebook page, the terrorist referred to recent terror ‎attacks as part of a "third Intifada,” and said that it was ‎a response to Israel’s actions at the Al-Aqsa Mosque ‎and that the Palestinian people would not “succumb to ‎humiliation.” This is a reference to the PA libel that ‎Israel is plotting to take over and destroy the Al-Aqsa ‎Mosque and to the PA's portrayal of Jews praying on ‎the Temple Mount as "an invasion of the Al-Aqsa ‎Mosque."‎
