PA PM portrays Israel’s killing of terrorists during attacks as “murder” of “defenseless” Palestinians, especially children
This article was written during a surge in Palestinian terror and violence against Israelis that began in October 2015. The term “bloody attacks” in the article refers to Israel’s neutralizing and sometimes killing terrorists during their attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers. The PA has chosen to consistently present Palestinian terrorists carrying out attacks as innocent victims of alleged Israeli “brutality.”
Headline: "Hamdallah: 'The whole world has to force Israel to stop its bloody attacks"
"[PA] Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah stated: 'The whole world is required today [Oct. 13, 2015] to force Israel to stop its bloody attacks, for which the Israeli government is fully responsible, as it never deterred settlers from carrying out attacks, did not punish them, and did not demand accountability of them, and it encourages its army to use live gunfire against the innocent and defenseless Palestinian people, and especially against children.'
During the speech he gave today (Tuesday) [Oct. 13, 2015], at the reception for the president of India, Pranab Mukherjee, at Al-Quds University in Abu Dis, Hamdallah added: 'We accept you today near Jerusalem, which is suffering from the foulest plots of displacement and expulsion, and whose people are dealing with acts of premeditated murder and mass field executions - just because they are Palestinian Jerusalemites who stand firmly on their land.'
He continued: "Just yesterday, the Israeli occupation forces assassinated the child Hassan Manasreh (i.e., terrorist who stabbed two) in cold blood, whose innocence and cries for help did not help him. Likewise, they severely injured his cousin, the child Ahmad (i.e., terrorist who stabbed two), and settlers shot the girl Marah Al-Bakri (i.e., terrorist who stabbed one) on the way home from school, and in her school uniform. All of these things are a continuation of two bloody weeks, during which Israel killed about 29 Martyrs (Shahids) on the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip, a third of whom were children."
Pisgat Ze'ev stabbing attack - On Oct. 12, 2015, two Palestinian terrorists, Hassan Manasreh (15) and Ahmad Manasreh (13), stabbed Yossef Ben Shalom (21) in the Pisgat Ze'ev neighborhood of East Jerusalem, then repeatedly stabbed a 13-year-old boy (name undisclosed at time of writing) who was riding his bike. One terrorist was hit by a car while fleeing the scene, and the other terrorist was shot by Israeli police. Both victims of the attack were seriously injured. The terrorists, who are cousins, came from the nearby Palestinian neighborhood of Beit Hanina.
Marah Al-Bakri - 16-year-old female terrorist who stabbed an Israeli border policeman at Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem. She was shot and wounded by the policeman.
