PA government justifies Palestinian violence accusing Israel of “murder of children” and “aggression against holy sites, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque”
Headline: “The [PA] government: Israel is perpetrating war crimes”
“The [PA] government stated that Israel is perpetrating war crimes and crimes against humanity against our people and our children. It [the PA government] called on the international community to bring it [Israel] to account for their barbaric despicable murders and the executions it deliberately carries out in the field against our people and our children. The government opened its weekly meeting, held yesterday [Oct. 13, 2015] in Ramallah, led by Rami Hamdallah, with a review of the political situation, the escalation of the Israeli attacks against our people, the continuation of the crimes against [Palestinian] residents, the murder of children, and the granting of permission to the settlers to carry weapons and use them against the Palestinians. It held the government of Israel fully responsible for the escalation of the situation in the Palestinian areas, and stated that the popular revolt is an expression of our people’s refusal of occupation, settlements, and Israeli aggression against the holy sites, and especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque. It also stated that the only solution to the existing situation is a political solution that will lead to a just peace.”
