Fatah states that Palestinians have “right” to state on “its entire homeland, not a small part of it”

Headline: “The Fatah party supports uprising and calls on the [Palestinian] Legislative Council to convene”
     “Fatah’s parliamentary party confirmed its support of the extensive popular uprising for the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its objection to the Judaization and the division (of the Al-Aqsa Mosque according to times and areas –Ed.).  The party emphasized the Palestinian people’s right to resist the occupation, the ‘oppressor that sits on our chest, until the liberation and establishment of a Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.’  The party stated in an announcement received by Ma’an [news agency]: ‘We are a people with a right to live like the rest of the peoples of the world, in an independent state on the land of its entire homeland, not on a small part of it, ruled by herds of settlers who ravage it.’
The party sent its honor and admiration to Palestine’s glorious women, who have always proved that they are partners and fighters who lead the ranks.’
Likewise, the announcement emphasized the importance of the unity and rallying around our right to fight and resist until victory and the establishment of the [Palestinian] state.”

"Division according to areas and times" refers to a proposed law (May 2013) being reviewed in Israeli Parliament that would allow for both Jews and Muslims to pray on the Temple Mount. The law seeks to designate separate prayer times and areas of the site for Muslims and Jews. Israeli PM Netanyahu has stated on many occasions that the Israeli government has no intention of ‎changing the status quo on the Temple Mount.
