"President [Mahmoud Abbas] stated yesterday [Nov. 11, 2015] during his speech at the Summit of South American-Arab Countries, held in Riyadh: … 'We will continue to become members of international treaties and organizations, in order to defend our rights, and we will continue defending our people which is under occupation, through all legal and peaceful means... Our hands still reach out for just, fair peace, that corresponds with international law, resolutions of international bodies, signed agreements and the Arab Peace Initiative. The time has come for some of the international forces to stop comparing the victim to the executer, because this may protract the conflict, and spread despair and frustration. If our people won’t enjoy its freedom, dignity, sovereignty and independence, no one will enjoy these things, and peace is a Palestinian, Arab and global interest, and it is within reach, If there are true will and intentions to make it.’"
