Accomplice to Sbarro terrorist lauded as "heroic"

On Aug. 9, 2001, a suicide terrorist, entered the Sbarro pizza shop in the center of Jerusalem and detonated his bomb, killing 15 people, including seven children. Ahlam Tamimi, the woman who helped plan the attack and led the terrorist to the site, was sentenced to 16 terms of life imprisonment. In prison, she married a male terrorist murderer -her cousin Nizar Tamimi.
The Palestinian daily Al-Quds cites Dr. Mutawakil Taha, an influential Palestinian poet:
"Two years ago I wrote the book "Ahlam ibn al-Nabi" about the two great heroic prisoners, Nizar Tamimi and Ahlam Tamimi, of whom we are proud."
