PA daily op-ed: "victims [Jews] have turned into the criminals... carrying out a worse holocaust" and that Israel is taking advantage of Paris attacks
Op-ed by Fatah Revolutionary Council member Bakr Abu Bakr, regular columnist for official PA daily:
Headline: “The Israeli and the ‘Paris attack’”
“There is no doubt that the Israeli always tries to take advantage of every event for his own interests, and use it for his policies and deceptive narrative, and he does not mind that he reminds the world of the broken record regarding ‘the Holocaust’ and ‘Antisemitism,’ and that the entity ‘the Jewish and democratic state’ fights terror. Likewise, he does not mind comparing what they claim is Palestinian terror and what happened in Europe (i.e., Paris terror attacks), so that [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu and his friends can again and again portray themselves as heroes and as fighting against terror and the evil represented by the Palestinian on one hand, and the country that sponsors it, Iran, on the other hand… The exploitation and use of global catastrophes as if their source is somehow the Palestinian or ‘Islam’ is common policy of the Israeli rulers today, and they themselves are the ones who intentionally remind the world of its ‘duty’ regarding the horrific Israeli ‘Holocaust,’ without taking into account that the victims have turned into the criminals, as today the Israeli occupation of our land is carrying out a worse holocaust.”
Paris attacks 2015 - On Nov. 13, 2015, seven terrorist attacks were carried out simultaneously in Paris, France, in which it is estimated that 129 people were murdered. An additional 352 people were wounded, 99 of them in serious condition. The most massive attack took place at the Bataclam theater during a rock concert, where 87 people were murdered. On Nov. 14, 2015 ISIS claimed responsibility for these attacks.
