Sociologist Dr. Nader Sa’id: "The description of some of the Martyrs as if they are something legendary, the description of some of them as if they are something out of this world, and as if they are exceptional cases, gives some youth and children an unrealistic picture of what they are going to carry out."
Official PA TV host: "This subject is a double-edged sword. We owe it to the Martyr and have to praise his heroism and show respect for him and his family. He sacrificed himself - is there anything greater than that? However, what you say is also true. When the children see these pictures and reports, which talk this way about Martyrs, they begin to imagine themselves as heroes like them, and they begin to act on it."
