Fatah official: “The current Zionist strategy… is based on the effort to build the alleged Temple in place of the Al-Aqsa Mosque”
"Fatah Central Committee Member Abbas Zaki said that Jordan is considered the present refuge for all oppressed, and emphasized that Jordan's stability is a real strength for Palestine. During the mass rally in the [Jordanian town] Zarka at the compound for professional unions, organized two nights ago [Dec. 14, 2015] by the popular committee for the support of the popular uprising [in Palestine], to mark the anniversary of the Palestinian Stone Intifada (i.e., Palestinian wave of violence and terror against Israel, 1987-1993), he added that the current Jerusalem Intifada is the fruit of the renewed willpower in Palestine, and is an undirected intifada, arising as a result of the inability to coexist with the Zionist occupation… He noted that the Zionist entity carries out organized terror against the Palestinian people, as they are assembling Zionist organizations, like the Zionist Irgun and Haganah (i.e., Jewish defense forces in the pre-state period) gangs, which carry out terror and intimidate. He stated that the right of return of the Palestinian people who was exiled from its land will be guaranteed if Jerusalem is returned, and added that the liberation of Jerusalem can blow up the current Zionist strategy, which is based on the effort to build the alleged Temple in place of the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
