Hamas celebrates 28th anniversary with play depicting kidnapping of Israeli soldiers at Birzeit University

“The Hebrew media closely followed the ceremony organized by the Hamas student bloc at Birzeit University to mark the 28th anniversary of the launch (Intilaqa) of the movement. The Hebrew media stated the ceremony was large and was held despite the fact that the occupation had arrested a number of Islamic Bloc activists yesterday [Dec. 16, 2015] in the early hours of the morning. It appears that a play depicting the kidnapping and murder of Israeli soldiers stirred the Hebrew media, which broadcast excerpts of the play in which armed and masked [men] in [Hamas’ Izz A-Din] Al-Qassam Brigades uniforms are seen kidnapping Israeli soldiers.”
