“[PA] Minister of Religious Affairs Sheikh Yusuf Ida'is called on the Arab and Islamic nations to hold an urgent and immediate meeting in order to stop the blunt attacks by the occupation and its settlers against the Ibrahimi Mosque (i.e., Cave of the Patriarchs) in Hebron, and to pressure the occupation to stop the Judaization of the mosque.
The Minister of Religious Affairs stressed that the Ibrahimi Mosque is a pure, Arab and Islamic mosque, and the Israeli occupation is not entitled to use it and defile it. The minister called for international human rights organizations to intervene rapidly in order to stop the violations against the mosque and to allow the citizens freedom of worship.”
