“The [PLO] Commission of Prisoners and Released Prisoners’ Affairs organized an event of solidarity with the child prisoners in the Israeli prisons and with child prisoner Ahmad Manasrah (i.e., terrorist who stabbed and severely injured 2 Israelis, one of them a 13-year-old boy), at the Hamdi Manko Hall in Nablus yesterday [Feb. 1, 2016]. The event was held in honor of Ahmad Manasrah’s 14th birthday, and included a number of speeches that called to show solidarity with him and stand by his side until he obtains his freedom, along with all of the child prisoners… Hassan Abed Rabbo, who represented the [PLO] Commission of Prisoners and Released Prisoners’ Affairs, concluded the event with a message to the child Ahmad Manasrah, saying that he is a model of pride and honor for the homeland, which has stood by his side from the first moment. Likewise, he said that Manasrah has become a symbol in all our hearts, and that his statements now serve as slogans we keep repeating in order to deafen the occupation’s ears.”
