Square in Tulkarem named after terror leader George Habash

Headline: “A square in Tulkarem was named after the ‘doctor of the revolution,’ George Habash”
“The National Committee for the Commemoration of the Eighth Anniversary of the Passing of Dr. George Habash, the ‘doctor of the revolution’ declared the [inauguration] of a square named after Dr. George Habash, the ‘doctor of the revolution,’ at the intersection of Qaqoun and Al-Awdah streets, one of the western entrances to Tulkarem.
The declaration [ceremony] was attended by the National Action factions, women’s organizations, popular and official figures, members of the city council and members of the Popular Front [for the Liberation of Palestine]… Member of the [Palestinian] People’s Party Suheil Al-Salman stated in a speech on behalf of the National Action factions: ‘We are standing today before a great national leader, the national leader of a revolution and a great pan-Arab leader. We are standing before ‘the doctor.’ When we speak of ‘the doctor,’ the nationalist, pan-Arab, and international revolutionary rebel and thinker, the wise man, we do so out of loyalty to the noble morality of the revolution, which distinguished him throughout the course of his struggle in the Arab Nationalist Movement and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine as the founder of both.’”
