Early last week, Palestinian Media Watch was kicked off YouTube for (supposedly) pushing hate speech.
Now, all PMW does is provide translations of what the local (mainly state-controlled) media are showing in the Palestinian territories. A lot of it is hate speech — but PMW is exposing it as such. And the folks who pushed for the shutdown simply didn’t want it exposed.
PMW fans soon convinced YouTube to restore its channel — but, again, it’s outrageous that it was shut down at all.”
