“The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics and the Palestine Monetary Authority published the preliminary results of the status of the international investments and Palestine’s extreme debt as of the end of the fourth quarter of 2015… The preliminary results show that the total external debt of the Palestinian economy has reached about 1.649 billion US dollars, which is divided between debts of the government sector, 64.9 percent of it, the bank sector debt – 32.1 percent, and of other sectors – 3 percent.”
