PA calls for murder of Jews in suicide bombings and stabbings to “restore honor”

• PA promotes stabbings, real attacks included in music video

• PA urges Palestinians to die for Al-Aqsa, "redeem its soil with their blood"

The PA is creating an atmosphere of terror and war for the Palestinian street, so that the population will be prepared to use violence and terror against Israel, should the leadership want it. This follows Abbas’ ending all cooperation with Israel.

An endless stream of music videos and fillers calling for murder and violence, and including footage of Palestinian violence and riots are being broadcast on one of the TV stations the PA controls. The following four terror incitement videos are but a few examples among many that were all broadcast on PA TV Live during the last two weeks:

PA calls for murder of Jews: “Restore the glory of Khaibar, The Sons of Zion are in my land violating my honor”
This song calls for murder of Jews in that it asks to “restore the glory of Khaibar.” Khaibar is the name of the last Jewish village defeated by Muhammad's army in 628. Many Jews were murdered in the battle, which marked the end of Jewish presence in Arabia. There are Muslims who see this event as a precursor to future wars against Jews. At extremist gatherings and rallies, this slogan is often chanted as a threat to Jews, warning them that they should expect their coming defeat and slaughter by Muslims. The song justifies its call for murder with the claim that the Jews – “the Sons of Zion” – are “violating my honor”:

Lyrics: “O Arabs, Al-Aqsa has a request,
Light the fire of rage, this obligation is necessary...
The Zionists have become arrogant.
They attack and behave tyrannically
Call out Allahu Akbar and restore the glory of Khaibar
The Sons of Zion are in my land violating my honor today.
O people of Allah, respond! We will continue on the path of Allah…
The night of the occupation is growing long – prepare for the call!
We are the men of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, we cannot be humiliated.”

Accusing Israel and Jews of “violating my honor” is very significant. Palestinian Media Watch reported last week that a top PA religious official, Head of the PA’s Islamic Courts Mahmoud Al-Habbash, recently included attacks on Palestinian “honor” as capital crimes for which there is an “obligation” to fight and permission to kill Israelis. He cited the Quran: “Kill them wherever you find them.”

This music video includes footage of two real stabbing attacks while the singer sings the words: “Defend the honor and the religion, with the help of men who are not traitors – they do not fear death.” Again the aspect of “honor” was stressed:

Lyrics: “When Jerusalem called to Gaza and Hebron
The Negev responded and the Triangle and the Galilee answered (i.e., all in Israel)
We are at your service, O Al-Aqsa, our blood is your torch
In our dictionary the word “impossible” doesn’t exist...
We ask Allah for refuge
Protect the dignity, protect it!
Defend the honor and the religion
With the help of men who are not traitors – they do not fear death...”

A third music video calls for suicide bombings and presents death as a Martyr – which includes a wedding to the Virgins of Paradise - as an ideal to strive and pray for:

Lyrics: "Al-Aqsa has called, and its call is precious
For its sake, life is insignificant, even if it’s precious...
God, grant us Martyrdom there
God, promise us, we beg of you…
A million grooms and brides at the celebration
Have written the marriage contract in blood on the veil

It is significant that all three videos above have used religion to package their call for violence and terror. They all justify attacking Israelis, reasoning that it is in defense of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem:

“O Arabs, Al-Aqsa Mosque has a request”

“We are at your service, O Al-Aqsa, our blood is your torch”
“When Jerusalem called…”

"Al-Aqsa has called, and its call is precious
For its sake, life is insignificant, even if it’s precious”

PMW has documented that telling Palestinians that the Al-Aqsa Mosque and other holy places are in danger and need protection is a powerful and efficient tool to brainwash them into being willing to carry out terror attacks against Israelis.

A new video, also broadcast in the last two weeks on PA TV Live, emphasizes precisely this point:

PA urges Palestinians to die for Al-Aqsa, redeem its soil with their blood

Lyrics:  “There are knights in Jerusalem...
Our Al-Aqsa is magnificent with its dome, its walls, and its gates.
With a stone, we witness the victory.
Bab Al-Huta remains its [northern] gate
[Al-Aqsa] is defended by the men of Palestine.
With their blood, they will redeem its soil.
And with uncompromising determination they are its swords and spears.”

The PA’s renewed efforts to ignite the Palestinian anger so that Palestinians will be prepared to use violence and carry out terror attacks against Israelis come in anticipation of Israel's presumed future annexation, i.e., applying Israeli law, to the Jordan Valley and the Jewish cities and towns in Judea-Samaria/the West Bank.

The following are additional information on the videos above:

One of the stabbing attacks included in one of the videos was carried out by Muhammad Sa’id Ali - 19-year-old Palestinian terrorist who stabbed Israeli police officers near Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem on Oct. 10, 2015. 3 officers were wounded, one of them severely. The terrorist was shot and killed by Israeli Security Forces at the scene of the attack.

The music video encouraging suicide bombings aired on official PA TV on Dec. 11, 17 and 19, 2017, on Jan. 8, 10 and 20, and Nov. 2, 2018, on Jan. 14, July 2 and 6, 2019, and on Feb. 16, 2020; and on PA TV Live on June 2, 22, 28, 2019 and June 1, 2020. According to Islamic belief, a Martyr marries 72 Dark-Eyed Virgins in Paradise. Therefore a Martyr’s funeral is considered a “wedding.” Becoming a Martyr represents the highest religious achievement that can be attained by a Muslim.
