Abbas’ advisor: Jewish history in Israel is “fables, lies, and fake inventions”

Supreme Shari’ah Judge and Abbas’ advisor Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “We want to defend the true narrative and the true history of Palestine… There are dangers of falsifying human awareness regarding Palestine by falsifying the history and shoving a number of fables, lies, and fake inventions into history. The inventions that falsely claim the presence of the so-called “ancient Kingdom of Israel” in Palestinian history or the history ascribed to Palestine, even though there is no truth to this (sic).”

An abundance of archaeological evidence has conclusively documented the ancient Jewish history in Israel.

Mahmoud Al-Habbash also serves as Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah Justice. In August 2019 PA Chairman Abbas dismissed all his advisors by Presidential decree. It is unclear what their status is today.
