PA to kids: If you buy from Israel you finance your own murder
Text: “Beware! Lethal Israeli goods.”
PA Ministry of Education uses grisly pictures with blood to present Israel as child murderer
PA intensifies message to boycott Israeli goods
PA students have to sign boycott declarations:
“We, the Al-Azwar [Elementary] School for Girls in El-Bireh, in accordance with the school’s initiative, sign on boycotting all the occupation’s products. Thus, we will not buy, trade, sell, or bring them into our school or our home. This is out of a deep belief that boycotting is resistance”
The PA Ministry of Education is intensifying its hate campaign against Israel. Using graphic and grisly pictures it trumpets the libel that Israel deliberately murders Palestinian children, and then warns children that buying Israeli products will finance their own murder.
Pictures posted by the PA Ministry of Education from its boycott campaigns at PA schools, include signs that teach kids that Israeli goods are “lethal” and that buying them will finance Israel's killing of Palestinian children.
In the ad above, a young boy drinks an Israeli dairy product and as a result has his brains blown out by a bullet. The text on the ad warns: “Beware! Lethal Israeli goods.” The ad was included on a poster at a PA school as part of the PA’s campaign to boycott all Israeli goods. The PA Ministry of Education endorsed both the campaign and the use of this and other images by posting photos from the boycott campaigns at the PA schools:

Another ad that was included in the school poster publicized by the PA Ministry of Education shows Israeli milk cartons dripping blood with the text: “I am boycotting.”
Another ad used at the PA school shows an Israeli milk carton casting a shadow in the shape of a rocket:
Text: "Let's boycott the dairy products of [Israeli company] Tnuva and its sister companies. Let's boycott the products of the occupation"
Images such as these reinforce the PA’s libel that Israel deliberately targets Palestinians and Palestinian children, and that if they buy Israeli products they are helping Israelis finance their killing of Palestinians.
The PA Ministry of Education posted another photo showing similar messages, such as: “Do not pay the price of their bullets,” hung with other signs at a PA school:
Text on signs on the window: “Our national goods are preferable”
“Do not pay the price of their bullets”
“Together in support of the national goods”
“Palestinian Goods Day – Nov. 1, 2021”
“The halal breakfasts, not from the occupation” (i.e., a play on words, “from the occupation” sounds similar to halal in Arabic)
“Boycott their goods and resist their terror”
“Your land’s goods – for you and your children”[Facebook page of the PA Ministry of Education, Nov. 1, 2021]
Palestinian Media Watch exposed a similar ad in which Fatah labels Israel the “enemy” and urges Palestinians to “boycott Israeli products”:
The image shows a Star of David with dripping red drops of blood. In the center is a picture of a wounded infant receiving medical treatment. The Star of David is integrated in a barcode that indicates Israeli products:
Text on image: “Boycott your enemy’s products
Our choice is the land, resolve, and building”Posted text: “Boycotting the Israeli products is a national duty
#Boycott_your_enemy
#Boycott_the_Zionist_products”[Facebook page of the Fatah Movement – Nablus Branch, June 8, 2021]
Apparently according to instructions from the PA Ministry of Education, Palestinian school children are being encouraged to sign declarations that they “promise to adhere” to the boycott of Israeli products:
Text on poster: “Document promising that I will boycott
On the basis of the school’s initiative and out of faith that boycotting is resistance, we promise to adhere [to this statement:] We, the Kafr Ein High School, commit to boycotting the occupation’s goods and not to bring them into our school or homes”[Facebook page of the PA Ministry of Education, Nov. 1, 2021]
Students at a PA elementary school for girls in El-Bireh have signed a similar poster, swearing to boycott “all the occupation’s products.”
The poster at the Al-Azwar Elementary School for Girls features a tree and an upraised first in the colors of the Palestinian flag (bottom right). Around the tree are the signatures of students, and in the bottom right is the signature of the school’s principal Majda Al-Far.
Text at top of poster: “The covenant promising that I will boycott”
Text on large green leaves: “We, the Al-Azwar [Elementary] School for Girls in El-Bireh, in accordance with the school’s initiative, sign on boycotting all the occupation’s products. Thus, we will not buy, trade, sell, or bring them into our school or our home. This is out of a deep belief that boycotting is resistance.”
[Official PA TV, My School, Oct. 11, 2021]
It should be stressed, that while a call to purchase Palestinian goods to strengthen the economy is valid, a call to boycott Israel is meaningless, as the PA’s economy is completely dependent upon Israel. According to the PA Central Bureau of Statistics, 55% of the PA’s imports are from Israel and 81% of its exports are to Israel. [www.pcbs.gov.ps/Downloads/book2537.pdf]
Accordingly, teaching Palestinian children to boycott Israeli products, even without the libel that Israel targets children, serves little practical purpose and is more demonization for demonization’s sake.
The following are additional images posted by the PA Ministry of Education from the boycott campaign at PA schools:
Text on sign: “Fight through your food – support your land’s goods”
Text on signs: “Shame on you! Seller and buyer of Israeli goods
Palestinian, be proud! Support your national goods”
The sign show drawings a red “X” on an Israeli flag and Israeli products.
Text on sign: “[Is] it not an embarrassment that we are buying Israeli goods? Boycott the Israeli goods”
The image shows a keffiyeh (Arab headdress) with a sign on it featuring the Israeli flag with a “no” symbol on top of it.
Text on sign: “This site is free of the enemy’s goods”
The image shows a poster featuring the same signs as the poster above, with the following additional text: “The Ein Siniya Coed Elementary School”
[Facebook page of the PA Ministry of Education, Nov. 1, 2021]
Other texts on the signs on the first images above posted by the PA Ministry of Education say “Support your homeland by buying your land’s goods,” “The halal breakfasts, not from the occupation,” “I am boycotting. [And you?]”
