Self-deception or deliberate lie? All Palestinian terrorists “refused to kill children and civilians” but Israel deliberately “murders children and civilians” claims PA TV host

Since Israel was founded in 1948, thousands of Israeli civilians - men, women, and children - have been deliberately targeted by murderous Palestinian terrorists in suicide bombings, hijackings, shooting attacks, stabbings, and car rammings.

However, this reality was totally denied by official PA TV host Nasser Al-Lahham, who is also the Editor in Chief of the independent Palestinian news agency Ma’an. Completely disregarding the history of Palestinian terror, Al-Lahham whitewashed all Palestinian terrorists, claiming they have “refused to kill children and civilians.” He then added the libel that “Israel does murder children and civilians.” In a few sentences, the PA TV host erased all the deadly crimes of the four most murderous Palestinian terror factions, who among them have murdered thousands of Israeli civilians:

Official PA TV host Nasser Al-Lahham: “The Palestinian fighters - from Fatah, the PFLP, the DFLP, and all the factions, with all due respect to them and from the Hamas Movement – they refused to kill children and civilians … Our self-sacrificing fighters, our fighters, and our members of Fatah, the PFLP, and Hamas, and all the self-sacrificing fighters of the Palestinian revolution do not murder children and civilians, while Israel does murder children and civilians.”

The following are four examples of some of the most lethal terror attacks in which Israeli civilians were targeted and murdered by the terror factions  Al-Lahham claimed never targeted civilians:

The Coastal Road Massacre - In March 1978, a group of Fatah terrorists from Lebanon led by Dalal Mughrabi hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway. Confronted by the Israeli army, the terrorists murdered many of the passengers on the bus, in total 37 civilians,12 of them children, and wounded more than 70. The attack, orchestrated by arch-terrorist Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir), is known in Israel as the Coastal Road Massacre.

The Lod Airport attack – on May 30, 1972, Takeshi Okudaira, Yasuyuki Yasuda and Kozo Okamoto – members of the Japanese Red Army who had been recruited by the Palestinian terror organization Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) – carried out a terror attack at Israel’s Lod (Tel Aviv) airport. Throwing hand grenades and shooting, the terrorists murdered 24 (8 Israelis and 16 foreign tourists), and wounded over 70. Okudaira and Yasuda were killed during the attack, while Okamoto was arrested and sentenced to 3 life sentences, but was released in the Jibril Exchange in May 1985, after only 13 years of imprisonment, when Israel agreed to release 1,150 Palestinian prisoners, including terrorist murderers, in exchange for three Israeli soldiers who had been taken hostage by the terror organization the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine - General Command (PFLP - GC).

The Ma'alot massacre - terror attack committed by terrorists who were members of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) on May 15, 1974. The terrorists took hostages at the Netiv Meir Elementary School in Ma'alot. When Israeli forces tried to rescue the hostages, the terrorists attacked the hostages with guns and grenades, murdering 22 children and 4 adults

The Sbarro pizza shop suicide bombing in Jerusalem where a Hamas suicide bomber murdered 15 civilians, 7 of them children, and wounded 130 on Aug. 9, 2001. Ahlam Tamimi, who chose the location for the bombing, explained that she chose Sbarro because knew it would be full of people.

These examples above are just four of the countless deadly attacks against civilians committed by the recognized terror organizations that Al-Lahham cited. In addition, thousands of individual Palestinian terrorists have attacked civilians, following the terror promotion and terror glorification of the PA and all these recognized terror organizations.

The official PA TV program From the Israeli Archive is hosted by Nasser Al-Lahham, who is also the Editor in Chief of the independent Palestinian news agency Ma’an.
